Born and raised in Phoenix,
Arizona, was brought up in a Christian home. His
father, Pastor Kim Johnson, always instilled in his
children the word of God and the impact they could
make on the world by sharing His word with others.
When Todd began working in ministry full time in
1993, he started off as a youth pastor and
transitioned into an associate and worship pastoring
position, which he held for the following ten years.
During those years he also facilitated a children's
ministry as well as a young adult/college age small
group.
Todd was ordained in the Church of the Nazarene in
2001. After planting a new church in the Las Vegas
area in 2005, Todd moved to Oklahoma where he
pastored two churches before returning home to
Arizona. Now serving at
NorthGate after 16 years of full time ministry,
Todd is genuinely excited about what God has in
store for the church and it's surrounding
communities. "I love Jesus and I love people and
want so desperately to be a part of a movement of
God where lives are changed for the cause of Christ
and where people come together to serve one another, grow in Him and
change the world!"
~ Rev Todd Johnson
